Newport Rams players Morgan Doty, Bronwyn Gell and Leslie Anglin will suit up for the Victoria Aces in the Boral Australian Women’s Baseball Showcase at Melbourne Ballpark this Saturday and Sunday at 11am.

The historic series will be the first fully televised games of women’s baseball in Australia, with the broadcast to be shown internationally as well. The Victoria Aces will also be coached by Newport Rams own Dean Anglin, who has served as the Victorian Women’s Head Coach in every year bar one since 2011.

The two games against the Brisbane Bandits are a pre-curser to the women’s ABL that is scheduled to start in the next year or so.
