Women's Baseball
The Newport Rams Women's Program strives to create an engaging and welcoming atmosphere for all players, of any age or skill level to enjoy and further their passion for baseball. The last two seasons have seen our women’s program deliver some amazing results, a Premierships in Premier League Reserves in the 2023/24 season and a Division Two Championship in the 2022/23 season, plus our Ones being runners up of Premier League in 2023/24, the teams first year back in the top level of women’s baseball in Victoria.
The growth of our program is set to continue. This summer the Newport Rams Women’s Program aims to enter four (4) teams in the Victorian Summer League. The goal is to enter a team into every available competition, starting with Premier League and Premier League Reserve, a new team into State League and maintaining our team in Metro League. We believe this will give every single player, young or not so young, elite or new to the game somewhere to play, at a level that best suits them.
